Darcie didn't really know what she was doing here. Charlotte and Senium had summoned her to this strange place in order to help out some of the people that they had met here - she thought that if they knew how to get them here they would know how to get back. That was what she was wondering though, if they had asked them to help these people then...would they want to come back afterwards?

Would she?

Humming softly she decided that these were questions she should ask the runes when she had time. As it was she was waiting for Willow to be done talking to the people in the 'Small Council', because Senium and Charlotte had brought them here, along with Seffi and Othala they wanted to see if they presented any danger.

That was a lot of bullshit however, they wanted to see what their special powers were. They each had one after all. They wanted to assess how useful these powers would be in their little war that they had going on. To be honest she found herself...irritated with Willow and the others for summoning them here.

They had just finished fighting one war, did they need to get themselves wrapped up in a second that had nothing to do with them?

Seeing Willow coming out of the room in which they were 'speaking with' them, Darcie stood up and brushed off her dark blue skinny jeans. She was wearing her cream strap top and a light brown leather jacket with matching boots. Her eye liner was thick as always, and her lips covered in a thin coating of clear gloss to make them shine.

As she opened the door, she looked upon those inside and found...rather a mismatch of people. One male, with a quite well formed small beard and moustache who looked positively devious. One bald rather plump male. A dwarf. A woman with long blonde hair like her own, where as hers was whiter and loosely flowing down her back and hers was up in an elaborate style. She seemed to be glaring at her already. There was an infirm male dressed in chains. Finally, there was another male, his golden hair was slicked back and he was looking at her with ice blue eyes - he captured her attention and the respect of the room barely even trying.

Tywin had to admit that the two women had their talents but they were... Not as unique as they would like to believe. The girl that Jaime was seeing could change her appearance and it was an impressive talent but similar to what the followers of the faceless god of death could do . However, her powers seemed greater.

He would have encouraged the match to Jaime if he had not thought it might cause Jaime to end the relationship out of some childish spite.

The other woman, Senium, was an assassin. And while he had no doubt she was impressive, the fact remained that killing people was not something that Tywin needed too much help with. His own methods had proven time and time again to be effective.

Then there was this new woman... He had gathered from hints that she could see the future.

Now that was a power worth coveting.

"All but the newcomer may leave." He declared, the entire council immediately obeying despite his voice remaining calm and collected. He smirked slightly at the other travellers, "I wish to meet this new traveller alone."

Once the council and others had left, Tywin stood to pour the two of them cups of wine,

"I am Tywin Lannister..." He introduced himself, "May I have the pleasure of your name?"

Darcie waited until everyone had left bar her and the man that had captured her attention, there seemed to be a lot of grumbling coming from the other people - especially the other woman who was in the party but eventually they all obeyed the commands of that one man. It must mean that he was influential, and that she probably shouldn't get on his bad side or she would be going home sooner than she intended.

When they had all left she stepped further inside the room and took a seat near to the one that the lone male still sat in. His name was Tywin Lannister, well, from what she had heard from Charlotte and Senium the Lannisters were one of the richest families in this place and they had a known streak to get what he wants.

"Pleased to meet you Lord Tywin, I am Darcie Vane. No title I'm afraid." she stated with a small smile on her lips.

Taking one of the cups of wine that he had poured for her, Darcie took a cautious sip and she hoped that she would like it. She didn't want to be ungracious and end up refusing the drink that he had offered her. Fortunately for her it was a lovely deep red, Darcie's favourite colour of wine.

"Thank you, for the wine." she murmured softly, her eyes daring to dart up and lock with his own icy blue ones which still seemed to be weighing and measuring her whenever they lingered on her for too long "How can I help you?"

Tywin smiled his small, impossible to read, smile as he bowed his head to Darcie when she introduced herself to him. To be honest he had heard enough from Charlotte and Senium to know that there were very few people with titles and lands back in their own world and time.

Oh yes, he had figured out that their strange land was different entirely from their own. All it had taken was enough of Varus' little birds and some hints picked up during conversation that were only visible to him due to him listening to the spies,

"A pleasure Darcie Vane." He assured her before smirking ever so slightly, "Both Charlotte and Senium speak very highly of you and your skills."

Sipping at his wine, Tywin gestured for her to follow him over to a miniature of the kingdom of westeros (the one from the opening) and gestured at it,

"The question is... How can we help each other to this?" He suggested before nodding to the map, "I know that this war might drag on... But imagine if we could see what happened before it did?"

He was musing, seemingly casual, even as his eyes locked with hers,

"A partnership with someone of that skill would give great rewards to all concerned."

Darcie was happy that he was flattering her slightly and she allowed her smile to grow, her skills were amazing when it came to soothsaying - many people came to her for readings and she was one of the best teachers of the profession. She still held her position at Durmstrang although now they were in the summer holidays and as such, she had time to be doing whatever she wanted to do...like flitting off to strange other worlds and helping them out.

"I'm sure that they do. I've heard a lot of your, cunning and intelligence from my friends as well." she complimented back with a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips "They weren't lying."

When she was asked silently to follow him, Darcie rose from her seat and she followed Tywin towards a large map which she believed would show all of the countries here in Westeros. At least that was what she thought this place was called. He wanted to know how she could help him, help both of them get Westeros?

"Help each other? Don't you mean, help you." she stated with a small smile.

The fact that he was angling at rewarding her with lands, or money, for helping him Darcie frowned softly and she wondered if he was the right person to be helping. She didn't know much about what was going on and she wanted perhaps some clarification, but, she didn't see why she shouldn't help Tywin. He had been kind to her so far.

"So you want me to draw the future for you, to help you win this war?" Darcie asked with a little hum to her voice "And you'll reward me for it? I don't see any problem with helping you Lord Tywin, as long as you explain to me a little bit more about the war itself, it will help me understand any visions I get."

Tywin knew that Darcie wasn't as naive as her friends were and despite what they would say, they were naive. But it appeared that years of being able to see the future had meant that Darcie had grown up in ways that Charlotte an Senium had not yet had need to do so. That and she was rather perceptive to be sure.

He looked up at her,

"I do none of the things I do for myself... I do it for my family. So that when I am gone the legacy of the Lannister family lives on." He told her before bowing his head to her, "And a Lannister ALWAYS pays his debts... Our friends never go without."

He frowned as he looked at the map of the kingdoms that sought to tear his family down into the dirt and rip it apart. He pointed to Dragon's Rock,

"Stanis Beratheon resides there... With a thousand soldiers and a woman with the powers of a fire god." He declared with a small scowl, "He burns those who disagree with him."

He gestured to the Eastern lands,

"In the sands of the slaved lands a woman gathers an army... And dragons." He told her quietly, "She wants these kingdoms and with burn everyone who does not bow. We need to secure peace in order to secure ourselves Darcie."

Darcie blinked a little bit when she heard that he didn't do the things that he did for himself, he did them for his family. It was a strange thing. Many people wanted to further their own name where as Tywin wanted to secure his family's success long after he was gone - in some ways it was admirable if those cold eyes didn't suggest that he went about it in ways that weren't strictly kosher sometimes.

"That is a very noble thing." she stated with a small nod "Many parents seem only content to further themselves and not what comes after, I've seen that only too much."

Of course she had been told already by Charlotte the famous Lannister motto, a Lannister always pays his debts. She didn't know what she wanted though. What could she have that would be of any use to her? She wasn't staying here so she didn't want lands, would the gold still be worth anything in their world?

"What if I'm not certain how I want my payment?" Darcie asked with a slight cheeky quality to her smirk "Do you not want a demonstration, you could just be agreeing to any old hack..."

Unable to stop the vision that was prompted when Twyin told her about the red woman, Darcie saw the courtyard of Kings Landing, and she saw...stakes. With people attached to them. The woman, with the blonde hair who had been in here, and a male she didn't know, dressed in a golden uniform with a crown upon it. Her eyes were misted over, and she swiftly grabbed the nearest piece of parchment and quill. Automatically her hand moved, drawing each little detail that she saw.

In front of the stakes, was a woman with long red hair spilling down her back, dressed in red, her arms thrown up to the skies in prayer. She was saying something about atoning for their sins, the people on the stakes...that the night was dark and full of terrors.

Gasping softly she felt the vision leave her and she looked down at the piece of paper, and the work she had drawn on it. Whispering the last words she had heard, Darcie looked up at Tywin;

"The woman, there, she said that she was burning these people so that they could atone for their sins. She said...'Look to your sins, for the night is dark and full of terrors.'. This lady, she was in here before, but I've not seen this man before. Do you know who they are my lord?" Darcie asked softly, looking up at him as she leant over the parchment.

Was it noble of him to want to further his legacy and the legacy of his family? Tywin didn't think so and that wasn't why he did it. Honour and nobility were nothing to him. All he cared for was the continued power of the Lannister name for centuries after her had died. It was not nobility that caused him to shoot for this goal but pragmatism,

"Is it truly noble?" He asked her, honestly curious about how she would answer, "I do not hold back when it comes to ensuring my family survives. I will kill anyone who stands in the way of it and I don't care who it is that must die."

So she didn't know what she wanted?

"Most people don't when someone offers them whatever they like." He explained with a small smirk, "But you maybe have years to decide what you want. It doesn't matter if they are old debts... A Lannister always pays them."

Well now... This was interesting.

Tywin sipped at his wine as he watched her slip into a kind of trance before begging to draw what she was seeing in the future. He raised an eyebrow as he watched her draw an impressively detailed picture of the woman in red. Nodding his head when she came out of her little trance, he muttered to himself with a scowl,

"For the night is dark and full of terrors..."

He nodded as he looked her square in the eyes,

"You have seen Stanis and his woman in red... Do you doubt they need to die?"

Darcie shrugged her shoulders a little bit when Tywin asked her if she thought it really was noble. To many people it wouldn't be but, it was one of the main things that he had set his life around doing, every man needed a set of rules, a code, and honour came from abiding by those rules. They didn't have to be the same as everyone else's in fact they rarely could be...but to many people here, Tywin's goals weren't honourable.

"It depends entirely on individual views." she stated with a small smile "Every man must have a set of rules to abide by, and these rules when followed bring honour. So, in a way, yes, it is honourable, even if slightly cut throat, cloak and dagger at times."

Seeing as she didn't have to say what she wanted right away Darcie felt a little better, she could keep this favour in case she ever needed help here - or money to take home; "Thank you, I shall wait until there is something that I really want, rather than spending this favour unwisely. I think it is a most valuable thing to have."

Unable to stop herself from biting her lip when Tywin said that they needed to die, or rather, asked her if they did. Darcie cast her mind back to the vision.

"Well, they will take over the city if nobody does anything to prevent their current course of action." she stated with a soft hum "But I still don't know who these people are, they might have done terrible, bad things. Another vision might come regarding them, or it might not." Darcie informed with a small smile "If the Lannisters wish to keep your current King, then it would be wise to uhm...neutralise the Red Priestess in the very least."

Tywin liked her.

The world was not black and white how the Starrks had once viewed it. The world was a mass of different greys with all the in between moments being the most important. Nothing was entirely good and nothing was entirely bad. He did things considered awful and terrible but in doing them for the good of his family, was he not also doing something good?

He nodded in agreement with a rare smile,

"I think you and I are going to get along just fine Darcie..."

She was wiser than her friends it seemed too. But then again both of her friends were lying and had a lot to learn about life in general. Darcie seemed to have discovered the truth... That it was better to be owed favours than to ever cash them in.

So... She was predicting the death of Geoffrey and the Lannister ruling of kings landing should the red priestess continue to live?

That sorted it.

Finishing his wine, he smiled faintly,

"Well thank you... Come, let me escort you to your quarters." He offered, hand ready to take hers, "I believe you have given me a lot to think over."

Darcie was glad that Tywin liked her, she hadn't always been like this. There had been a time she was as innocent and lovely as Willow, however the world had dawned on her through her life and her visions and she knew that not everything could be happy fluffy bunnies. People were different, everyone had different motives and you needed to know them to stop yourself being hurt in the long run.

"I think that we are going to get along just fine too." she agreed with a soft smile on her lips, running her hand through her long blonde hair to relax her a little bit, having visions always gave her a little bit of a headache.

Now that their business was done, Darcie stood up once more and with unsure expression, she took Tywin's hand as he offered it to her. The angle was a little wrong for holding hands so, he must mean for her to place hers on top of his, and that was what she did.

"If I have any other visions, I will be sure to bring them to you immediately." Darcie assured with a gentle smile on her lips "Thank you, it has been a long day." she stated with a little grin, she was eager to see what her room would look like. Charlotte's room was beautiful, Senium's a little less so as she lived near to the Hound.
