PostSubject: Final Departure (Survivors)   Final Departure (Survivors) Icon_minitimeThu Apr 18, 2013 10:47 pm

Rowan had decided that she was going to go and see Vincent one more time before she left the lab for good, she hadn't had the time to bury him in a proper cemetary and it was too dangerous to do that now anyway but she had managed to bury him in one of the flowerbeds in the school grounds, just outside of the lab and she had created a headstone for him that she'd written on in Sharpie.

With a small sigh she sat down on the floor in front of the headstone, she'd placed a picture of the two of them there so that people would know what the man who had died here looked like, he'd made so many breakthroughs, until he was bitten it looked like he was going to be able to get a cure for this thing, that would stop people turning.

Taking out a sharpie she re-wrote over the words one last time, hopefully it would be enough for it to last through the weathers, and the photo was in a little glass frame. Maybe one day she would be able to come back here, not only was this man her lover and partner but he had also been her role model and someone she looked up to immensely, she would like to visit him again.

She realised she hadn't told anyone about what had happened, about who he was, and she resolved herself to tell them when they next got chance to speak about it, they deserved to know, Patrick more than anyone and she didn't want him to feel threatened by what she had kept from him. Honestly, Rowan just hadn't been ready to talk about it.

As she stood up she dusted herself off and she sighed softly;

"Well, I guess this is goodbye Vincent." Rowan stated, with a shakey breath "Thanks for everything."

With that, she went to turn to leave.

Jimmy and the others had been waiting at the end of the street for Rowan to finish up her business at the lab, specifically the little garden area of the lab. While he knew enough to guess that it had probably been someone very important to her who had worked with her on the cure, he was sure the other two were unsure as to why she wanted to stay just that little bit longer but they both seemed to respect her desire to stay a few minutes longer.

He was getting a little bit twitchy about staying here much longer though.

The zombies tended to be able to tell where survivors were for some damned reason and he wanted to make sure that they didn't stay in one place for too long. Otherwise those damned smart zombies might discover where they were and move to block them off. It would be just their luck to find the road ahead of them covered in burning acidic goo.

Checking that his rifle was loaded and ready for the fifth time, he winced a little bit when he turned to see Rowan approaching. Not because of her approach or even because she was so obviously sad, but because his ribs were still aching, even though they were on the road to mending even now. Now once again sure that he was ready, he gestured towards a road,

"Come on guys." he urged them quietly, "We take this road until we hit the river then we turn left... we should be able to get to the London Eye outpost that way."

His years as a cab driver served him well now as he knew almost every way to get to any landmark from almost anywhere. For once in his life he was thankful for having to spend so much time ferrying tourists around.

Sebastian had been overwhelmed with gratitude when he had been given some comfortable Converse by Rowan, although he wondered where she got them from, them being definately too big for her, he didn't ask, and was wearing them quite happily. They were so much better than his brogues and he could run in them much easier, and, they weren't digging big cuts into his feet everytime he did break out into a run.

Running his hands through his recently gelled hair, Sebastian had used the resting up chance to give himself a good bloody wash and clean, it was a miracle the way that he had been able to feel clean for the first time in weeks.

He was almost sad to leave the place but, he realised they had a goal to get to and this quiet life wasn't going to last forever, because, zombies had the annoying talent of flooding to places that had survivors, no matter how quiet they were. Maybe it was just something to do with the way that they smelled things out? Who knew. Maybe Rowan could tell him when she was feeling better.

Shouldering his bag, freshly packed, Sebastian took out a pistol, checked the clip, and grinned when Rowan approached, the girl needed some cheering up and he was just the right friendly gay guy to do it. Linking arms with her he pinched her cheek with his other hand teasingly;

"Awwwww come on now Rowan don't look so down, you're going to have a long walk full of hearing my interesting life story, aren't you excited darling?" he asked with a friendly grin "You should be, it's full of twists and turns and drama!"

When he got a glare from Jimmy he merely pouted and kicked a nearby stone; "Or we could do as Jimmy the Killjoy wants and play the quiet game until we get there."

Beginning to walk down the road that Jimmy had told them to, he kept his arm linked with Rowans.

Patrick had to admit that his claw-marks had healed up very nicely considering they had been made by some dead or infected creature. It wasn't infected and neither was he, which was a massive bonus to him. By all accounts he should have at least have gone mad by now. Since he was just as sane as he had always been they are guessed that the disease wasn't affecting him for some reason. The idea of being immune to this shit was actually rather comforting.

It wasn't going to be just "one scratch, one death" kind of thing. He wasn't going to be quite as fragile by this reconning, he'd be closer to plastic than he would be to glass. God knows how he would be able to make it through this whole thing if one cut would be enough to send him straight to hell.

As they were beginning to walk he tried to make his way over to Rowan, to try and cheer her up, when he was figuratively, and perhaps literally, cock-blocked by Sebastian swooping in to play the "gay best friend" card. Shaking his head a little bit, he checked his shotgun was loaded again and made sure that the bandages around his chest were still securely tied.

He laughed a little bit when Sebastian joked about Jimmy being a killjoy. Until, that was, he glanced at Jimmy and got given a death glare for his trouble. He held his hands up in surrender,

"Hey yer don' nee' te try an' kill me wit' yer deat' eyes!" he joked a little bit, rolling his eyes, "Besid' we'r bein' caref'l as it is. We'll be fin'."

As they walked he made sure to check every street that they passed. Surprisingly there really wasn't that many zombies around. Just a few of the really slow-half-dead ones that just looked at them as they wandered past from inside buildings and ruined cars,

"Anyon' els' gettin' tha' really creepy feelin' yer ge' when yer bein' watc'd?" he joked a little bit as he continued, "Feels lik' wat' Will Smit' woul'a fel' lik' in tha' film... I am Legen'."

Rowan bit her lip and she smiled as Sebastian came over to her and tried to comfort her, laughing lightly when he pulled on her cheek she rubbed it slightly when he let it go and let him link arms with her. To be honest she hadn't spent a lot of time with Sebastian and was kind of looking forwards to travelling with him while they went to the London Eye.

She didn't know how to figure him out.

Yesterday he was a mixture of so flamboyant and gay, but when it came down to it he was so brave and so masculine that she wondered if he was the same person! Rowan knew that was something awful to think and just because of his sexuality it didn't mean he couldn't be fit and strong but...it just didn't seem like something that gelled with his character. It would kind of be nice to find out more about him.

Although she did catch Jimmy's look and she giggled a little;

"I would love to hear some of your story Sebastian." she whispered softly, as they walked along the street, her eyes darting from side to side as she kept an eye on the zombies in the shops in case they decided to charge on them instead of staying still like they were now "I'm sure if we whisper, he shouldn't glare at us too badly..."

Taking out her pistol from her belt loop she held it in her hand, the coldness was keeping her calm as she felt the reassuring weight in her hand.

"I know what you mean..." Rowan admitted "It's kind of creepy that they're all just watching us and...like not doing anything..." she whispered, in response to what Patrick had asked.

Jimmy had to admit that he had a thing about noise. Especially now when a loud noise or two would result in them having to fight for their lives. The others seemed to appreciate that... up to a point. For example, Sebastian was chatting away like there was no tomorrow despite the fact that Patrick had also pointed out that there were zombies inside the cars and shops around them! He glared at the gay guy to try and convey his desire for him to quieten down.

And then Patrick was also being loud!

Was he the only person who appreciated that being too loud was going to get them eaten alive here? But then Rowan whispered her responses and he sighed a little bit in relief. He smiled at his daughter-figure in relief,

"At last... someone else with more than two braincells to rub together." he joked in a quiet voice, looking at Patrick and Sebastian when he insulted them for their decisions to be louder than was absolutely neccessary, "At least Rowan and I are sensible."

He glared at Patrick, having caught the Irishman making a "blah blah" hand motion out of the corner of his eye. When he fixed Patrick with his glare though the Irishman had both hands on his shotgun again and appeared to be checking out the cars that they passed. Jimmy hung his head a little bit,

"Great... three guys in the group and I'm the only one who's mature." he groaned a little bit before hitting his head with his hand, "Jesus I sound like my god-damn father... I am NOT that old yet..."

Sebastian was almost exploding in excitement so when he was glared at by Jimmy he merely gave him the finger and stuck his tongue out at him, before turning back to Rowan and grinning like a man man, there were so many things that he wanted to ask her, including the things that he had heard last night when he had come to drop some food off for her!

Unable to stop himself he was almost wiggling in excitement, Sebastian whispered softly to Rowan, although his voice was tinged with glee as he did so;

"Sooooo give me all the gossip Rowan, you can't hide anything from me!" he grinned, giving her a wink as he bent down to talk to her more easily as they were walking along the street, although his voice was low he was near to her ear so she would be sure to hear him, there would be no excuse to get her away from answering his questions.

"I stumbled across your room last night and there were a fair few unwholesome sounds coming from it!" he grinned "So, you have to tell me everything! How is he in bed? Was he considerate enough of you, he didn't force himself upon you did he? Does his accent make it sexier, I think it would do? Oh and if you feel comfortable telling me this...roughly, how big is he in comparison, use your hands."

Taking out a little post it note packet from his jacket he took out a battered biro and grinned, poised and ready to take notes, before he looked back at Patrick with a rather evil glint in his eye, oh he was never going to live this down! Especially considering what he had heard last night coming from Patrick's mouth!

Patrick chuckled a little bit when Sebastian gave Jimmy the finger for all the glaring that the older man was doing towards not only Sebastian but him as well. Shaking his head a little bit, Patrick frowned and thought about shooting on of the zombies trapped in the nearest car as it's reaching limbs had almost caught onto his bag. In the end he just smacked the flailing limbs away from him.

He noticed how Sebastian was talking so excitedly to Rowan but thought nothing of it. After all, she was entitled to friends and the gay guy was a good friend, Sebastian was a funny guy when he wanted to be but serious when he had to be. He turned to Jimmy and patted the older man on the back in mock sympathy before quickly walking away from the guy,

"Yer probably are tat ol' if yer tink abou' it!" he joked with the older man before smirking, "Besid's don' men yer age always try an' say tat age ain' nothin' bu' a numb'r? Strang' how only old'r peopl' say tat don' yer tink'? So how bou' it? Yer had te urg' te say tat ye'?"

He chuckled a little bit to himself and carried on walking normally until he glanced over to Sebastian and Rowan and saw the gay guy giving him a darkly amused look while holding a pad and pen. Honestly, it was making Patrick a little bit suspicious as to what was being spoken about over there. He narrowed his eyes at Sebastian in amused suspicion,

"Wat' yer two talkin' bou' now?" he teased them a little bit, "Bett'r no' be anytin' lou' wat' wit' capt'n grum's ov'r ter."

Rowan was a little bit shocked when Sebastian spoke so close to her ear but she didn't cry out however much she wanted to, biting her lip a little bit she felt her cheeks flush when he told her that he had heard her and Patrick last night...oh no oh no! He life was like officially over! However was she going to face Sebastian again now that he had heard her having sex?!

But...he didn't really seem to mind, and, more than that, he wanted her to tell him all about it. It was kind of nice, like having a girl friend to talk to about stuff like this. So...she didn't need much pushing to tell him what it had been like, but she didn't want him to go around telling Jimmy about it or anything, that would be the last thing she needed!

"Well...okay I'll tell you but you have to promise you wont mention it in front of Jimmy, he'll slaughter the pair of us if he finds out!" she grinned with a little cheeky tongue poking out at Sebastian, waiting until he had promised, he kept her mouth shut.

Hearing that he wasn't going to tell anyone, Rowan spilt the beans about what had happened last night and she was glad to tell someone and get it off her chest, that way she would be able to talk her problems through with someone without feeling embarrassed, like she would if she had to talk to Jimmy about it, that would be an awful conversation.

"Uhm well...he was very good actually." she whispered with a burning blush "Considering we had to be so quiet we couldn't really do much but...it was, yeah it was good. I always have a thing for accents so it did make it sexier but, I would have had just as much fun if he didn't have one, just because it was him...and uhm..." she gestured with her hands "About this long I think..."

Squeaking a little bit and blushing wildly when she heard Patrick asking her what they were talking about she waved her hands swiftly; "N-nothing!", turning her attention swiftly back to where she was going, she stepped cautiously over some curious looking remains, glad she hadn't stepped in the sludge.

Jimmy ground his teeth at Sebastian's reaction to his glaring. That man was infuriating! Didn't matter how 'fabulous' he thought he was, the fact was that the Sebastian boy was nothing but a pampered little brat! He should reign himself in otherwise... oh dear fucking god! He was turning into his father! Just because he was getting to the same age his father had been when he'd died, didn't mean that he had to turn into the man right? Right?

He growled a little bit at Patrick, who seemed to have read his mind enough to tell him exactly what he didn't want to hear right about now. When he opened his mouth to reply he groaned a little bit and put his head in his hands. He had literally been just about to say something about age not mattering, even if he wasn't going to word it like that,

"Do you ever get tired of being a sarcastic asshole Patrick?" he hissed at the man quietly, getting a laugh in response, "Honestly... it's like I'm travelling with a toddler, a giggly teenage girl and then, thankfully, a mature adult."

He glanced at Sebastian, "Stop being a giggly teenage girl Sebastian, some things are just too weird and having you giggling like a schoolgirl is one of them."

He chuckled a little bit at the way that Rowan seemed to be getting more and more flustered before pausing and noticing the look that Sebastian was giving Patrick. Surely Patrick and Rowan couldn't have...? No... No! No that would be silly. Besides, Rowan didn't seem like the kind of girl to sleep with the kind of guy that Patrick was, she probably didn't even like his accent.

Sebastian turned around and looked at Jimmy he seemed like he wanted to do nothing more than land a punch to his face, to be honest, he'd seen a lot of that look during his life time so it didn't really have a big effect on him at the moment. Still...it wasn't really a typically mature adult thing for a man to do just glare at him when he was trying to cheer his 'child' up after what happened where as he was just being a fucking killjoy and moaning at everything and everyone.

Slipping the pad and biro back into his pocket, he sighed, didn't the guys perhaps think he wasn't actually as big of a poof as he acted? No...he supposed it never crossed their dim minds.

"You guys can go be fucking killjoy assholes on your own, so sue me for having a bit of fucking fun after the world went to shit." he growled, before turning around and walking faster in the direction of the London eye, he could see it poking through some of the buildings and that meant that they were going to be there soon, the sooner they got there the better, he could go away from these asses.

But where would he go? It seemed even when he was useful and saved their asses yesterday they couldn't stop themselves from acting like dicks. Rowan excluded, that girl was just so cute, he'd have to take her with him when he split from the group, the others didn't deserve her and would probably only end up hurting her. Throwing the pad on the floor after taking it from his pocket, he glared at the floor, so much for his plan to make her feel better, take her mind off whatever it was by acting the keen gay friend.

"Come on then, let's get to this fucking place before the day ends." he muttered.

Patrick winced when Jimmy insulted Sebastian so obviously and so very bluntly. Now he wasn't completely innocent, he'd teased Sebastian plenty of times since they'd first me but he'd done his best to not say anything that was too offensive. Nothing that was designed to hurt the guy, just some friendly teasing. He had wanted to get some friendly teasing in return, he was a give and take kinda guy.

Pun not intented.

He glared at Jimmy when Sebastian stormed on ahead. Shaking his head, he spat on the ground. Strangely enough it landed just in front of where Jimmy was going to be walking,

"Real fec'in' matur' from te so-call'd adul' in tis situat'n." he growled at the man before he turned to go after Sebastian, "Do te worl' a fav'r an' lear' som' fec'in' toleranc' yer pric'. Jus' cus yer copin' badly wit' som'ting' don' mean 'happy' peopl' ain' copin' wit' som'ting' too."

Hurrying after Sebastian, he caught up with the guy pretty quickly. He tapped him on the shoulder in warning before he stepped up beside the guy. In today's world sudden movements tended to get attacked and considering Sebastian had a pistol, he was in no hurry to startle the guy into firing at him,

"Hey Sebast'n..." he began before trailing off and shaking his head a little bit, "Loo' mat' I'm sorry abou' wat' happ'n'd bac' ter. Wat Jim'bo says bac' ter was way ou'a lin' an' ter ain' no excus' fer it. An'... well loo' mat' I jus' wan'd te say I was sorry yer kno'? Fer te teasin' an' stuff befor'... I was jus' playin' bu' I migh'a tak'n it a st'p to far. If I did I jus' wan'd te say sorry, I only mean' te hav' som' harml'ss fun wit' yer givin' as goo' as yer go' bac' te me kin'a ting yer kno'?"

Final Departure (Survivors) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Final Departure (Survivors)   Final Departure (Survivors) Icon_minitimeFri Apr 19, 2013 12:41 am

Rowan gasped a little bit when Sebastian and Jimmy had some sort of conflict, honestly she didn't know where it had come from but there was that side ot Sebastian again, the side that didn't seem to tally with the one that he wore so often...he was normally so cheery and happy even in situations like this which were scary and he had made her forget about the zombies lining the road staring at them.

She felt so conflicted, she didn't know what to do, but, she thought that seeing as Patrick was going after Sebastian that she would stay with Jimmy. Rowan knew that he wasn't coping very well with what was going on, none of them really, but, Sebastian was the person in the group that it seemed everyone knew little to nothing about...maybe there was a reason for that, she didn't know.

Coming to stand by Jimmy she looked up at him with a bit of a confused expression, linking her hand with his she asked softly;

"Are you alright Jimmy? I know that you're under a lot of stress but...Seb was only trying to help me feel better, I'm sure he didn't mean to annoy you." she stated with a small smile on her lips, looking over to where Sebastian and Patrick were standing her heart felt a little heavy for the guy.

She didn't know why but, she knew that there was something he was hiding, everyone had a story, and she knew a lot about everyone elses but his. Whatever it was, it mustnt be anything nice...a part of her had wanted to ask but, she had realised he probably wasn't ready or didn't want to talk about it.

"Everyone copes with things in different ways, maybe acting the way he does helps make him feel better? Why don't you go and talk to him when we get to the army post, I'm sure he'll appreciate it." Rowan suggested, with a soft smile.

PostSubject: Re: Final Departure (Survivors)   Final Departure (Survivors) Icon_minitimeFri Apr 19, 2013 12:56 am

Jimmy honestly hadn't meant to insult or hurt Sebastian, definately not as deeply as he had done. He had wanted the man to calm down and be quieter. That had been his intention behind the statement, it wasn't intended to cause the man pain but it seemed to have managed to do just that. Jimmy flinched a little bit at Patrick's words before he just got angry at them. So he was allowed to say whatever the fuck he wanted because of that damned accent but he wasn't? When the Irish man spat at him his eyes flashed in anger and he snarled at the Irish man,

"You shut your mouth! You don't know anything about having to cope with something!" he hissed at the man, "You don't know shit about coping with pain... get the hell away from me Patrick."

When Patrick and Sebastian marched on off ahead he deflated a little bit and closed his eyes when he sighed. Honestly, he didn't mean to offend Sebastian. He had meant to offend Patrick though. That little potato-mucher could go fuck himself for all he cared. He turned to Rowan and looked away,

"I'll be alright when I've calmed down I should think..." he said quietly before nodding, "I know he was. I just wanted him to calm down, to be quieter and speak less... to stop attracting more attention from the damned zombies. I... I lost my niece to the infection. She was bitten when we were coming home from the shops one night after the looting because... because I was speaking. Trying to cheer her up..."

He sighed a little bit and shook his head. This situation wasn't the same and Rowan, no matter how alike she and his niece had been, was not his niece. The situation was safer because it wasn't just Rowan and Sebastian, they had Patrick and himself looking out for danger too. When Rowan suggested he make the time to talk to Sebastian at the army outpost he nodded a little bit,

"Yeah... yeah I'll try and talk to Sebastian and apologise for what I said. I didn't mean for it to come out like that at all." he told her with a soft smile before pointing at the Army jeeps that could be seen rather vaguely at the other end of another mile or two or road, "And there's the outpost... we've almost made it."

PostSubject: Re: Final Departure (Survivors)   Final Departure (Survivors) Icon_minitimeFri Apr 19, 2013 6:09 am

Sebastian gritted his teeth when he heard the others fighting, he hated this and he hated the fact that he just couldn't do what the hell he wanted, if he wanted to act gay then why should he be made to stop by the taxi cab guy? To be honest he didn't even know him, why should he listen to him! Why should his opinion even matter to him?! It seemed like he was even more riled up because he had begun to trust these guys but they were just the same as always.

When Patrick came up to him he didn't look up from the ground and his teeth still remained gritted together, even with zombies around it seemed like he wouldn't be able to escape people giving him stick about his sexuality or the way that he acted. True he was hamming it up a little bit but that was just the way that he coped with things, he made light of them...but apparently that was annoying so he shouldn't do it.

Of course he wasn't a bloody idiot he knew when he had to be quiet, or had Jimmy forgotten he had helped save his goddamn ass last night?!

"It's fine Patrick." he stated simply, looking up from the floor and his eyes were filled with tears, Sebastian hadn't cried in months despite what had happened to him, generally he was quite a hard person, and he wasn't really used to being in situations like this "I'm used to it."

Wiping at his eyes he clenched his jaw again and shook his head;

"I'm just so tired you know? I saved his ass last night and then, when I try and cheer his 'kid' up he has a bloody go at me, I mean, did it not cross his head that I am NOT as gay as I first appear?" Sebastian sighed and pinched his nose "I've got a thick skin, teasing I can take but...god he's such a righteous asshole."

As they approached the London Eye, Sebastian raised his eyebrows, there were so many bodies around here he was suddenly aware of why the zombies were so few in number it looked like there had been five bombs set off in the vicinity. There were large dints in the tarmac and there were burn marks on the buildings, which did not look good for the outpost still being in use. There didn't seem to be anyone here...

"Well shit, great idea Jimmy." he muttered.

Patrick shook his head at Jimmy. He was Irish, he got a lot of shit from English people over the years and it had never bothered him before and it certainly didn't bother him now. He didn't even dignify the man'blatent rant with a response, verbal or otherwise. He just shook his head. For someone who fancied himself as mature, he sure did know how to ignore the little voice in the back of his head that was no doubt shouting at him that what he was doing was a bad idea.

He sighed a little bit when he saw the tears in Sebastian's eyes. There was just something about another grown man crying that just seemed to scream vulnerable to him. He really didn't want Sebastian to keep crying like this,

"Well jus' call me an Iris' retar' bu' it don' loo' fin' te me." he countered, placing a hand gently on Sebastian's shoulder and looking into his eyes as they walked, "Yea' well yer shoul'n't hav' te be us'd te it on tis trip in partic'l'r. Yer'v don' so muc' te help all'a us tha' tis kin'a shi' ain' go' an excus' from any'a us."

Patrick was not the guy to go to if you wanted a clear and balanced argument about the Lord Grumpy that was Jimmy. Not right now after the guy had torn into him for sticking up for Sebastian. Seeing that he seemed to be breaking down with the anger and tears, Patrick walked up to Sebastian and gave him a quick hug, something that he had been known to do for anyone who cried,

"I kno' wha' yer mea' Sebast'n. I ain' ev'r had it as ba' as yer probably ha' bu' ter's a lo'a hat' fer te Iris'." he agreed before shaking his head a little bit, "Yer don' deserv' tat fer how well yer'v trea'd him an' te res'a us. Jus' le' us as a grou' hav' a secon' chac' te ge' te see te whol' yer... so tat no on'a us will mak' te sam' mistak'."

The London Eye Army outpost was a serious of holes in the ground and bodies on the ground. Gripping his shotgun tightly, Patrick made his way closer to one of the barriers. He sighed a little bit and lowered his gun slightly,

"Well tis is a righ' ol' fuc' up we go' ourselv's inte..." he muttered before picking up a better, military, shotgun from a pile of weapons by the entrance, "We go' bett'r weap'ns her'... Guess tat's som'ting'."

Rowan sighed a little bit and she shook her head at Jimmy, she didn't know what had gotten into him he was usually so sweet and kind, maybe he had just gotten up on the wrong side of the bed today? It can happen to the best of them she supposed but now wasn't really the time to explode, or the person to explode at, Seb was lovely and she respected him after she'd seen the traps he'd set up to protect them last night.

"I don't like seeing you this mad Jimmy...it's kinda scary." she smiled softly, squeezing his hand to reassure them as they walked towards the London Eye, she sure hoped that they would be able to have a good rest up there, this walk had tired her out already, emotionally that was.

When he said that to Patrick Rowan shook her head again and let her grip on his hand loosen a little bit; "You can't just go around saying things like that to people, you don't know, maybe he has lost someone and he just doesn't want to tell us yet, I'm pretty sure Sebastian has lost someone but...he's not told us either."

As they approached the London Eye Rowan's heart plummetted when she saw that the place was almost like a graveyard of zombies and of soldiers as well, it was completely and utterly devoid of life or movement, apart from a few crows that were circling around over head and trying to take a nibble out of some of the burnt carcassess strewn around.

"Oh no..." she whispered softly, placing her hands to her mouth as she gazed upon the scene "There's nobody here...everyone's gone..."

Walking closer to Patrick and Seb, Rowan began to look through the outpost, hoping there would be something here that they could scavenge, seeing they could take the weapons off the soldiers, she bawked softly and took a knife from a holdster and what looked like a machine gun and a roll of bullets.

"I guess we're lucky it hasn't been looted yet...I suppose there's nobody left to loot though." Rowan mused, looking over the camp.

Jimmy sighed a little bit when she squeezed his hand and told him that he was scary when he was mad. He hoped that she wasn't squeezing his hand to show her that she was afraid of him like they had the time after the specials attack. He really didn't want her to be afraid of him, he really, honestly, didn't. He smiled faintly at her,

"I'll try not to be as angry in the future." he told her, after he had said what he'd said to Patrick. He was still jumping mad at Patrcik but he didn't want Rowan to be scared of him because of it so he was putting it away for now. He shook his head a little bit as he closed his eyes. He gave her hand a gentle squeeze, "Sorry, I just lost it there for a minute... I'll reign in my temper don't worry."

When they reached the outpost, Jimmy's heart sank.

Walking in an almost zombie-like trance, Jimmy's gun clattered to the ground as he made his way into the outpost and began to frantically look around inside the collection of tents. There was nothing and no one here, just a bunch of guns and ammo, not one soldier and not a single radio to contact the Army or other survivors.

He wandered back out of a tent before slumping against the check point entrance that had been set up as the entrance to the whole area. His head fell into his hands and he gripped his hair tightly.

"This... this is bullshit!" he hissed at the ground as he pulled himself up to his feet, angry as all hell... before he just deflated as the anger drained out of him, "I'm sorry... I... I never thought that they wouldn't be here anymore you know? There were so many soldiers here... some of the jeeps have heavy machine guns and everything... I guess we'll have to make out own way out of the city..."

Sebastian blinked a little bit when Patrick hugged him, it was strange having a hug from a male, he hadn't been hugged since...well since Christoph died. Biting his lip he gently hugged him back, despite it probably looking and feeling a bit awkward for Patrick he was glad that he was comforting him anyway, he hadn't had any for the longest time and maybe that was what he needed? Just a little bit of comfort.

When he mentioned giving the group another chance Sebastian clenched his jaw again and let himself go from the hug, he was feeling rather limp and drained as he dwelled on all of the things that he had been shoving back from his mind since the attack on his shop all those weeks ago.

"I'm not going to leave the group because of what happened here today, it would be suicide, but, I don't expect me and Jimmy to be having any tea parties any time soon." he stated in a quiet voice as he kicked one off the bodies near him, smirking a little, he remarked to himself how it looked like a kentucky fried human, instead of KFC.

As Jimmy approached and happened to have some sort of breakdown, Sebastian almost groaned and he slumped down, sitting on one of the boxes, reaching down he took out one of the massive guns and what looked like a grenade launcher, that would come in handy. Looking through the bag he had, Sebastian began to take out a few things he didn't need, and he went around the camp looking for useful things.

A few minutes later he returned, his expression still sullen and quiet;

"Well we had better leave quickly hadn't we. Everyone look for useful stuff before we leave though, we dont know what we'll need later right?"
